Registration Restrictions

Registration is limited to Individuals, Juridical persons or Companies residing or based in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Republic of San Marino, Vatican City or Switzerland.  All others may use the Registry's Trustee service.

Companies: VAT ID and Tax ID must be provided.

Individuals: Passport or ID number, or Italian Codice Fiscale, must be provided.

Correct nameserver configuration required. For correct inclusion in the zone file, the nameservers must be properly configured. MX records must accept an postmaster@ address. MX Records may not point to a CNAME.

• The master server stated in the SOA of the zone must be one of the nameservers given with the domain application.
• Each nameserver stated in the application must have a valid NS entry.
