The change of ownership process can only be completed by submitting the documentation outlined by the auDA. Please send the following information to our Customer Support team, either by faxing to +1-613-706-1248 or scanning and emailing to service@Rebel.com. Once the change of ownership has completed the domain name will begin a new 2-year registration term. The cost for the change of ownership is the same as a 2-year registration for the .au domain name.
1 - A letter from the current company, on company letterhead that includes:
- both the current and new company names and business registration numbers
- written authorization to change the ownership to the new company signature of the current owner
- an explanation of how the domain relates to the new owner's company
- provide full contact details for the Administrative, Technical, Billing and Registrant contacts. Note: This information should match the Master Account created for the new owner
- Include the exact text from the Schedule A form listed at the bottom of this FAQ
2 - On a separate cover page:
- a copy of a valid credit card, including the cardholder's signature where the Change of Ownership fee will be applied.
- Please note: A change of ownership re-registers the domain for a 2-year period starting on that day. Any unused time on the current registration term will be lost and no refund or credit will be provided for this time
- the master account ID that the domain will be moved to once the process is complete
Once we receive all documentation described above, your Change of Ownership request will be submitted to the Registry for approval. In all cases, the Registry has final say in approving a Change of Ownership request.
