If you’re experiencing issues with your email, please go through the following troubleshooting steps. These steps will help identify common problems and ensure your email is set up correctly!

1. Is your email hosted with Rebel.com? 
2. Is your hosting package active?
3. Is DNS resolving correctly?
4. Is your password correct?
5. Are your email server settings correct?

1. Check if your email is hosted with Rebel.com

Your email must be hosted with Rebel.com for us to assist you. To confirm:

1. Log in to your Rebel.com account.

2. Navigate to My account and then Subscriptions and check if you have an email package with us.

3. If your email is hosted elsewhere, you’ll need to contact your email provider for assistance.

2. Verify that your domain and email package are active

1. Go to Subscriptions and check the status of your domain and email package.

2. If either is expired, you will need to renew it to restore functionality.

3. If your domain has expired, your email may not work properly until it is recovered.

3. Check that your DNS is resolving correctly

1. Your domain's DNS settings must be correctly configured for email to function.

2. You are able to use external tools like DNS Checker or MXToolbox to verify that your domain's MX records are pointing to Rebel.com.

3. If your DNS settings are incorrect

   • Hosted with Rebel: Update your mail records in your Advanced DNS Settings. 

   • Hosted with Third Party: Please contact your DNS provider and give them our Mail records.

4. Ensure your password is correct

1. If you're unable to log in, double-check that you’re using the correct email and password.
   Cloud Email Webmail: mail.rebel.com
   Plesk Login Webmail: webmail.yourdomainhere.ca, For example webmail.rebellovesanimals.ca

2. Try resetting your email password

3. Please note: If you recently updated your password, ensure all your devices have the new password to avoid login issues.

5. Ensure your server settings are correct
