Registration Restrictions
VAT-ID number of company of European Union country and a contact person in Hungary, able to communicate in Hungarian. If individual, provide personal ID number from any EU country and contact person in Hungary.

DNS checks is that the registry requires a postmaster@domain.hu to be active on the mailserver that you inserted in the DNS zone. Make sure that the mailserver is already accepting mail for the postmaster mailbox in the domain you are requesting.

Once the registration has been submitted the registry will send an online form to us, which we will forward to you. This form needs to be confirmed within 14 days, otherwise it will time out.

Once the online form has been processed the registration will be accepted by the registry. Once accepted the domain will be in a waiting period for 10 till 16 days, during which the registry evaluates the request.
