In this article, we will cover the following:
Adding your domain to the hosting package
Step 1
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting”. Please select this.
Step 2
Click on the "Actions" down arrow for the package you would like to add, and connect your domain with. If this is a new package, it will show not connected.
Step 3.
From the drop-down menu, you will see "Add Domain"; select this.
Step 4.
You will be given an empty field; enter your domain name. Please ensure that the first domain added is typed correctly, as you are unable to change the primary domain on the package once it is added.
If you would like your domain's DNS to be automatically pointed to the hosting package, leave "Update Nameservers" selected. If you do not want your domain's DNS immediately updated and would like to connect your domain manually in the future, deselect the check box.
Once you have selected, you can then click "Add Domain".
| Note: Your domain's DNS will only be updated if "Update Nameservers" is selected and the domain is in your account. |
Manually connecting your domain to your Web Hosting Package
If your domain was not automatically connected to your package, or if your domain name is registered elsewhere, you can connect it using your package's nameservers.
Step 1
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting”. Please select this.
Step 2
To the right of your package, select the "Control Panel" button. This will bring you to our Plesk interface.
Step 3
Here you will be able to find your domain name, select "Hosting & DNS" in the top toolbar. From there, click "DNS" as it will show that the domain is not resolvable.
Step 4.
From there, you will see a message stating "Update DNS settings on the side of your domain registrar or external DNS provider" appear; select this link.
Step 5.
From the left-hand side, there will be information on what your glue records and nameservers will be. Please use this to connect within Rebel or your third-party domain registrar.

| Note: Nameserver updates can take up to 24-48 hours to propagate worldwide; however, it's typically much closer to 2-6 hours. |
