By default, all domains registered with Rebel are set to auto-renew, so you don’t have to worry about missing an expiry date. Unless you’ve requested otherwise, your domains should already be enrolled in automatic renewal.
You can confirm your auto-renew status at any time in your Domain Manager. Simply select your domains and click “Export to CSV” in the top-right corner. The exported file will include an Auto-renew column showing either true (on) or false (off) for each domain.
Rebel begins the first automatic renewal attempt 45 days before your domain’s expiry date.
If the renewal is successful, a confirmation email is sent to the primary email address on file.
If the renewal fails, the account holder will receive an email notification prompting them to update their billing information. Additional billing attempts are made every three days, for a total of four attempts. If all attempts fail, auto-renew will be turned off for that domain.
If at any time you would like to turn off auto-renew, please follow the steps in the article: How to turn off auto-renew
If you’d prefer to manage renewals manually, you can request to have auto-renew turned off by contacting our support team.
