In most cases, you can access your Plesk control panel directly through your Rebel account. When you log in to Rebel and open your hosting Control Panel, you will be automatically signed into Plesk without needing to enter a username or password.
Your Plesk username is automatically created when your hosting package is purchased and cannot be changed, but you can update your password if needed. The steps below explain what to do depending on whether you know your current password or not.
If you know your current password
Step 1.
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting. Please select this. Or you can log in directly through your Plesk interface.
Step 2.
Here you will see all of your hosting packages listed. For the one you want to access, select the purple "Control Panel" button. This will lead you to the Plesk interface.
Step 3.
On the right hand side you will see your Account name. Click on this for a drop-down menu. Within this drop down menu, select "Edit profile".
Step 4.
Here you will see your general account information. With your Plesk preferences, you will see:
- The given username that the package has given you. This can not be changed.
- You will then see an already filled password field, please be sure that this is the correct current password.
- Underneath you will be able to type your own, or generate a password for your account. Once you have made this, type it again in the "Confirm password" field.
- Once you have finished updating the password you can click "OK" or "Apply"
If you do not know your current password
Step 1.
Go to your usual log in page. At the bottom you will see "Forgot your password", click on this.
Step 2.
It will bring you the option to send the reset link to your email address or your username (with the username it will send you an email to the address connected within your account). Once you have written it there you will be able to click "Send". You will then be sent an email where you can follow the steps to update your password.
