Privacy protection (also known as WHOIS privacy) helps keep your personal contact information hidden from public domain records. However, not all domain extensions support this feature.
Some domain registries require ownership details to remain publicly visible and do not allow privacy protection to be enabled.
Why isn’t privacy available on some domains?
Privacy rules are set by each domain registry, not by the hosting provider. Certain countries and domain authorities require transparency in domain ownership, which means contact details must remain publicly accessible.
Because of this, privacy protection cannot be added to these domain extensions.
