In order to register a .CA domain you must meet the .CA registry's Canadian Presence Requirements (CPR). Part of the CPR includes selecting a "Legal Status Type" for your domain registration. The legal status type selected would depend on who the domain is being registered for, an individual or a business. Prior to registering a .CA domain, applicants should review the CIRA's CPR requirements located at https://cira.ca/policy/legal-agreement/registrant-agreement as this includes a list of available legal types and who qualifies to use what legal type.
