Note: To use Cloudflare, you’ll need to change your domain’s nameservers to the ones they provide. This is required because Cloudflare manages DNS directly through its own system, rather than letting you keep your current DNS provider. Once you make the change, your DNS settings will be controlled from Cloudflare’s dashboard instead of your registrar or hosting provider.
If you would like to connect your domain to your Cloudflare nameservers, please follow the steps below:
Step 1.
Log in to your Rebel account, select "Products" in the top left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Domains." Please select this.
Step 2.
For the domain you’d like to update the name servers for, select “Manage” on the right-hand side.
Step 3.
In the upper left side, you will see the two words "Contacts", "DNS" and "Domain Options". Select "DNS". tab.
Step 4.
Underneath the sentence "What action do you want to take?", there will be a button for a drop-down menu; by clicking this, you will get four different options. Please select "Use third-party hosting".
Step 5.
Enter your Cloudflare nameservers in the two boxes provided, or update the nameservers you see.
Step 6.
If you need to add or remove your name servers, please follow these steps:
- To add a new name server, please select "+Add Nameserver"
- To remove a name server, please select the "Remove" placed on the right side of it.
Step 7.
Once you are done editing your nameservers, click "Save Changes" on the right-hand side of the screen.
Please note, the nameservers will never have a period (.) at the end. If your domain currently has a Classic Hosting, Classic Email or Weebly Website package with Rebel, you will first need to cancel the hosting.

| Note: Nameserver updates can take up to 24-48 hours to take effect due to DNS propagation, though we typically find it's closer to 6-12 hours. |
