When setting up a new Google Workspace (GWS) package, there are a few common issues that can prevent your account from being created successfully. Here’s two common issues, what they mean and how to resolve them:
1. Conflicting Accounts
In some cases, your domain may have already been signed up for a Google service in the past. When this happens, Google won’t allow us to create a new account for that domain.
However, you can transfer your existing Google account to us. To do this, follow Google’s transfer instructions. You’ll also need our Cloud Seller ID, which our team can provide to complete the process.
2. Primary Email Already in Use
Google doesn’t allow the same primary email address to be used for multiple Google services. If your chosen primary email is already associated with another Google product, the setup can’t be completed.
To work around this, we recommend temporarily using a different email address to create the account. Once the setup is complete, we can bring the original email under Google Workspace and switch it to be the primary address.
