If your website isn’t displaying, the cause can depend on whether you recently made changes or if the website suddenly stopped working without any updates. The sections below can help you narrow down what might be happening.
If you recently updated something
If you recently made changes to your domain, hosting, or website settings, the issue may be related to those updates.
DNS or name server changes
If you recently updated your DNS records or name servers, it can take up to 24–48 hours for the changes to fully propagate across the internet. During this time, the website may load for some visitors but not others.
Website files or hosting setup
If you recently launched your website or moved it to a new hosting package, make sure your website files are uploaded to the correct directory.
Website builder changes are not published
If you are using a website builder, make sure all of your changes have been saved and published. Some website builders require you to publish the site before updates become visible online.
SSL setup still processing
If you recently enabled an SSL certificate, it may take a short amount of time to finish provisioning. Until it is fully active, the website may show security warnings or may not load correctly.
How to install my SSL: Plesk, LetsEncrypt, Classic, Third Party host.
If your website randomly stopped working
If your website was working previously and suddenly stopped displaying, there may be another issue causing the problem.
Check for common website errors
Error messages such as 403, 404, or 500 errors can indicate issues with permissions, missing files, or website configuration.
Check if your hosting package is active
If your hosting package has expired, been suspended, or requires renewal, the website may stop displaying.
Clear your browser cache
Sometimes your browser may be loading an outdated version of the website. Try clearing your browser cache or opening the site in a private/incognito window to see if the issue persists.
Check our service status page
It’s also a good idea to check our service status page to confirm there are no ongoing service issues affecting websites.
