We understand that sometimes things go wrong. A plugin update can break a site, files can be deleted by mistake, or something unexpected can happen. To help protect you, all hosting accounts include automatic daily backups.
This article explains how those backups work and how we can help restore your site if needed.
How backups work
Your hosting account is backed up automatically once per day, early in the morning (server time). These backups are stored for 30 days.
Each backup includes your website files, databases, and core Plesk settings. This allows us to restore your site to a previous state if something goes wrong.
How to request a restoration
If you need a restore, simply contact our support team. We’ll handle the process for you.
To help us complete the request quickly, it’s best if you can tell us when your site was last working properly. An approximate date is perfectly fine. You should also let us know what you’d like restored — whether that’s the full site, just the database, or specific files.
What to expect during a restore
When we restore your site, it will be reverted to how it looked on the selected date. Any changes made after that point will be overwritten.
For that reason, we recommend avoiding any updates or changes to your site while the restoration is being completed.
Backup limits
Backups are available for the last 30 days only. If an issue occurred more than 30 days ago, we won’t be able to recover that data.
Backup access
Backups are managed internally by our team to ensure server performance and stability. They are not accessible directly through your Plesk panel.
If you need anything restored, just reach out and we’ll take care of it.
Email recovery
In some cases, we may be able to recover deleted emails. This is most likely if your email is set up using IMAP, as those messages are included in server backups.
If you’re trying to recover emails, let us know as many details as possible so we can check what’s available.
