This article explains how to determine who manages your DNS, where your DNS records are hosted, and whether your domain is using Rebel DNS, Rebel Plesk DNS, or a third-party DNS provider.

Step 1: Check Whether You're Using Rebel DNS

1. Log in to your Rebel account.
2. Select Products.
3. Select Domains.
4. Beside your domain, select Manage.
5. Select the DNS tab.

From the DNS page, you can use the following indicators to determine whether your DNS is managed by Rebel DNS.

Option 1: Check the Advanced DNS Button

If the Advanced DNS button is clickable and opens the Advanced DNS Manager, your DNS is most likely managed by Rebel DNS.

Option 2: Check the Nameserver Information

On the same DNS page, review the Nameserver Information.

• If the nameserver information shows Parked with Rebel or Forwarding, this usually indicates that your DNS is managed by Rebel DNS.
• If the nameserver information shows Third Party, continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Check Whether You're Using Rebel Plesk DNS

If your domain shows Third Party nameservers, your DNS may still be managed through your Rebel hosting package.

To check:

1. Log in to your Rebel account.
2. Select Products.
3. Select Hosting.
4. Beside your hosting package, select Control Panel.
5. Select Hosting & DNS.
6. Select DNS.

If you manage your DNS records here, your domain is using Rebel Plesk DNS.

Step 3: Third-Party DNS Provider

If your domain is not using Rebel DNS or Rebel Plesk DNS, your DNS is managed by a third-party DNS provider.

To manage your DNS records, log in to your third-party DNS provider's control panel. If you're unsure who manages your DNS, contact the company that manages your website or DNS for assistance.
