When adding a DNS record, different DNS providers may use different names for the same field.
The field may be called:
- Host
- Name
- Hostname
- Record Name
In our DNS management interface, this field is called Host.
Enter the host or name provided by the service you are configuring.
For example, if another provider gives you:
Name: google._domainkey
Enter:
Host: google._domainkey
As another example, if you are given:
Hostname: www
Enter:
Host: www
Your domain name is automatically added. For example, entering www creates www.example.com, so you do not need to enter the full domain name.
