How Do I Check the DNSSEC Status or Request a DNSSEC Change?

DNSSEC cannot be enabled, disabled, or modified directly through your account. You can check the DNSSEC status yourself for some domain extensions, while others may require Support to check the status for you.

Check the DNSSEC Status

For .com domains, you can use a WHOIS lookup to check whether the domain is shown as signed or unsigned.

For .ca and some other domain extensions, the DNSSEC status may not be displayed in a WHOIS lookup. If you cannot find the DNSSEC status, please contact Support so we can check it for you.

Request a DNSSEC Change

To enable, disable, or make another change to DNSSEC, please contact Support from the email address associated with your account.
