Account Currency
We accept payments in Canadian dollars (CAD) and U.S. dollars (USD). Your account currency is determined by your very first payment, and all future invoices and renewals will continue in that same currency.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods for all domain registrations, hostings, and renewals:
Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
PayPal: Can be securely linked within your account.

Why We Do Not Accept Debit Cards (Including Visa Debit)
As ICANN-accredited registrars, Rebel must adhere to strict security and compliance regulations. To protect your digital assets, our billing system is optimized for automated, uninterrupted renewals.
We do not accept standard debit or Visa Debit cards due to the 3D Secure (3DS) authentication process required by banks:
The Verification Loop: When processing an online payment with a debit card, 3D Secure requires a real-time authentication step (such as a pop-up window, SMS one-time code, or mobile fingerprint scan) to verify your identity.
Renewal Failures: Because domain renewals happen automatically in the background, our automated billing system cannot complete these interactive, real-time security prompts required by your bank.
The Risk: If a 3D Secure verification fails or mismatches during an automated cycle, your payment will fail, putting your domain registration and active services at immediate risk of expiring and going offline.
To ensure your services remain completely seamless and uninterrupted, we exclusively accept traditional credit cards and PayPal, which process automatically without these interactive blockers.
Alternatively, you can link your bank account or debit card directly to a PayPal account and use PayPal as your primary payment method. For more information, please visit our guide: How do I add PayPal to my Rebel account?
