If you have just moved your email to Rebel or are in the process of moving your email to Rebel, some of our packages can easily import your email from your old host.
Supported hosting packages:
Step 1.
Log in to your Rebel account, then select "Products" in the top-left corner. In the top toolbar, you will see "Hosting. Please select this.
Step 2.
Here you will see all of your hosting packages listed. For the one you want to access, select the purple "Control Panel" button. This will lead you to the Plesk interface.
Step 3.
For your desired domain, select the "Mail" option, and then "Mail Importing".
Step 4.
There you will be able to select "Import mail messages"
Step 5.
Enter your old email address and the old password. Then you will be able to import the mail to either a new or existing mailbox.
- If you are importing it to an existing account, please select the destination email by using the drop-down menu.
- If you want to create a new mailbox, please check the option and enter the email you would like to create (it does not have to be the same address) and a new password.
Then click "OK".
Step 6.
The system will try to determine the settings automatically. If the import gives you an error, you may need to click "Show Advanced Options" and manually enter your old host's server settings.
Once you have input the settings manually, you will be able to click "OK".
Step 7.
Your mail will be imported, and the control panel will display the progress. If you have a large amount of mail to import it may take a few minutes or a few hours. Once your email is successfully imported, you can visit your webmail or set up your email in your favourite email application.
