How Do I Move My Domain to a Different Hosting Package or Upgrade or Downgrade My Current Package?

The steps depend on whether you want to change your current hosting package or move your domain and website to another hosting package.

Upgrade or Downgrade Your Current Hosting Package

If you only want to upgrade or downgrade your current hosting package, you do not need to migrate your website or purchase another hosting package.

To change your hosting package:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Select Products.
3.  Select Hosting beside Control Panel.
4. Select Actions.
5. Select Change Package.
6. Follow the prompts to select your new hosting package.

Move Your Domain to Another Existing Hosting Package

If you want to move your domain and website from one existing hosting package to another, this is considered a migration.

To request the migration, email:

Our Migration team will review your request and follow up with the next steps.

If email accounts are also being moved, we will need the email addresses and mailbox passwords for the mailboxes being migrated. Our Migration team will provide a secure link for you to submit these details.

There is usually minimal downtime during the migration. The Migration team will provide instructions before changes are made that could affect your services.

Move to a Newly Purchased Hosting Package

If you are purchasing a new hosting package only because you want to upgrade or downgrade your current package, you do not need to purchase another package. Use the Change Package option in your account instead.

If you specifically want your website moved to a separate newly purchased hosting package, the new package must be purchased at the regular rate and not at a promotional rate for our Migration team to complete the migration.
