Overview
If you recently transferred your domain or hosting away to another provider, your ability to recover your website files and databases depends on the current status of your hosting package and how much time has passed.
Follow the scenarios below to determine how to retrieve your website content.
Scenario A: Your Hosting Package Is Still Active
If you only transferred your domain name (or pointed your DNS away) but your hosting package remains active in your account:
Self-Service File Retrieval: Log in to your account dashboard as normal and navigate to your hosting control panel (Plesk/cPanel or File Manager) to download your website files and export your databases.
Need a Full Backup File? If you prefer a full server backup archive, connect with a Live Agent via chat or call to request a generated backup export.
Scenario B: Hosting Canceled or Deleted (Within 30 Days)
If your hosting package was canceled or deleted when you transferred away, but less than 30 days have passed:
Your data may still exist in our server backup system.
Action Required: Contact our support team immediately to speak with a Live Agent.
What to provide: Have your previous domain name, hosting account details, and the approximate date of cancellation ready so our technical specialists can attempt a server restore before the retention period expires.
Scenario C: Hosting Canceled or Deleted (More Than 30 Days)
If your hosting package was canceled or deleted more than 30 days ago:
In accordance with our automated data retention policies, all associated server backups, databases, website files, and email accounts are permanently purged from our storage systems after 30 days.
Outcome: Unfortunately, we are unable to retrieve or restore your website content once this 30-day window has passed. You will need to rely on any local backups saved on your personal computer or provided by your new hosting host.
