You can easily select and update your domain's PHP version directly inside your Plesk Control Panel at any time.

Step-by-Step: How to Change Your PHP Version

You can change your PHP version through your hosting dashboard without needing technical assistance:

1. Log in to your main account dashboard.

2. Click on Products, then select Hosting to open your Plesk Control Panel.

3. In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Websites & Domains.

4. Select your domain name if it is not already chosen.

5. Click on the Dashboard tab.

6. Look for the PHP section—you will see an option labeled PHP support alongside your current PHP version number.

7. Click the dropdown menu next to the PHP version and select the version you wish to run (e.g., PHP 8.1, PHP 8.2, etc.).

8. Click Apply or OK to save your changes.

Important Note: After changing your PHP version, we recommend testing your website immediately. If you see errors or a blank page, your active theme or plugins may not yet support the newer PHP version. You can simply switch back to your previous PHP version using the same steps.
