Overview
If a hosting package has missed its renewal deadline or experienced a failed billing payment, the system automatically places the hosting account into Suspended status. When a hosting package is suspended:
Your website files, databases, and emails are retained safely on the server for a limited grace period.
Website traffic and active email services are temporarily disabled until the outstanding balance is cleared and account services are manually reactivated.
Because clearing a suspension and restoring server configuration files requires account verification and manual service provisioning, this process requires live agent intervention.
Why Is Live Support Required?
While standard invoice payments for active services can be processed self-service online, paying off a suspended package requires additional backend steps:
Service Reactivation: Once payment is completed, a support specialist must remove the server-level suspension lock and restart your web and mail services in Plesk control panel.
Account Retention Verification: If an account remains suspended past the billing grace period, support must verify that your website files and databases are still intact before taking payment.
How to Pay and Reactivate Your Hosting Package
