How to edit your website using Rebel Vibe

To edit your website, tell Rebel Vibe what you’d like to change in the chat box in the lower-left corner. You can update text, images, colours, layouts and sections using everyday language. 

Click inside the box and type what you’d like the builder to do.

• Upload images: Click the image icon in the lower-left corner of the chat box to upload images for your website.
• Send your message: Once you’ve finished typing, click the icon in the lower-right corner of the chat box.

How to describe a change clearly

For a specific change, tell the builder where it should happen and what you want changed. If there’s something you want to keep, mention that too.

For example, instead of:

Change the heading.

Try:

Change the main heading on the homepage to “A better yard starts here.” Keep the smaller text underneath it the same.

You don’t need to know the name of a website element. Descriptions such as “the large image at the top” or “the orange button below our services” can help identify what you mean.

Edit text

Ask Rebel Vibe to replace wording, add information or adjust the tone and length. If you know the exact wording you want, include it in your message.

On the About page, replace “We serve the Ottawa area” with “We serve Ottawa, Kanata and Stittsville.”

Shorten the introduction on the homepage to two sentences and make it sound more welcoming.

Check the updated text to make sure it accurately represents your business.

Change images

To use your own image, click the upload icon in the lower-left corner of the chat box. Then explain where you want the image placed.

Use the photo I just uploaded to replace the large image at the top of the homepage.

You can also request changes to existing images:

Remove the image beside the About Us text and let the text fill that space.

Change colours

Describe the colour you want and where it should be used. You can use a colour name or provide an exact colour code if you have one.

Change the buttons throughout the website to dark green. Keep the background white.

Change the main heading colour to #0F0037.

Adjust the layout

Tell Rebel Vibe how you want the content arranged. You can move sections, change spacing or adjust how text and images sit together.

Move the Services section above the About Us section on the homepage.

In the About Us section, place the image on the left and the text on the right.

Add more space between the heading and the text underneath it.

Add or remove sections

Explain what the section should include and where it should appear.

Add a section below Services called “Areas We Serve” and list Ottawa, Kanata and Stittsville.

Remove the testimonials section from the homepage.

At launch, new sections can include text, images and links. Forms, appointment bookings and ecommerce are not supported.

Review your changes

After sending your request, wait for the updated preview and check the result. If it needs another adjustment, describe what you’d like changed.

For several unrelated edits, requesting one at a time can make it easier to review each result.

If you prefer an earlier version, open History using the clock icon above Package Info. Find the version you want, click the three dots beside it and select Revert to this version.
