If your email settings are set up using a POP connection, please use the following POP settings, DO NOT delete and re-add email as IMAP unless you have created a backup/export of your email - this could result in lost emails.
Server Settings
- Incoming server name: imap.rebel.com
- Port: 993
- Connection security: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing server name: smtp.rebel.com
- Port: 587
- Connection security: STARTTLS
The following video describes how to update your email settings in Mail for iOS. Other versions of Mail may have a different appearance, but should be similar enough for you to follow along.
Step 1.
Go to Settings.
Then Mail.
Step 2.
Tap on Accounts.
Then tap your email account.
And your email account again.
Step 3.
Under Incoming mail server enter imap.rebel.com as the Host Name.
Step 4.
Under Outgoing mail server, tap on SMTP.
Step 5.
Tap the primary server and edit the following under the Outgoing mail server:
- Host Name: smtp.rebel.com
- Use SSL is enabled
- Server port: 587
Then tap Done in the top right and tap the back arrow in the top left.
Step 6.
Click Advanced.
Step 7.
Edit the following under the Incoming settings:
- Use SSL is enabled
- Server port: 993
Step 8.
Tap the back arrow in the top left and then tap Done.
